From Our Boo Crew to You

Goblins, witches, ghosts take flight
In the shadows of the night.
Children flock from house to house
Greeted by a pumpkin mouse.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

  1. What fabulous pumpkins!!! Did you carve those??

  2. Deb says:

Very clever. I didn’t carve this year. But even if I had it would not have resembled any of these.

  3. teetotaled says:

Boo! Have a spooktacular day Karen! hehe

  4. Karen says:

Yes, we carved them from pumpkins I grew. Andrew is the bat, Cait the fire face, and me the pumpkin mouse. :)

  5. Simply Jenn says:

Amazing pumpkins! I wanted to make a bat, but I couldn’t figure it out.

  6. Jenny says:

Yipeee! You are back! I missed ya something fierce the past few months Karen! Your pumpkins are gorgeous! Happy Halloween to you all. :) ( we don’t get any trick or treaters either out here in the sticks. I sure miss that.) Going to catch up on your posts now…:)

  7. jan says:

Happy Halloween. I do admire pumpkin carvers though I have resorted to Magic Markers myself.

  8. Therese says:

What a great job on the pumpkins. Happy Halloween!

  9. They’re fantastic!

  10. Karen says:

Hey Jenny, I’m only sorta back. I’m still in the thick of things and so don’t have the time I’d like to post even semi-regularly or get around to visit with everyone yet. But I’m workin’ on it. :)

  11. Those are the most artistic pumpkins I’ve seen, love the flames coming off the eyes!

  12. Ice Cream says:

Wow, how did you get all those little details on your mouse?

  13. Karen says:

Yeah, Cait’s pretty proud of her flames. And as for how I did the little details on my mouse? Verrrrry carefully! :)

  14. Johann says:

Hope you had a great Halloween! Woofs, Johann

  15. meredith says:

Boo to you! Those are some amazing pumpkins!

  16. Neil Sattin says:

You’ve inspired me and my wife to actually carve the pumpkins that are sitting, untouched, on our front stoop. Those are amazing! I love the perspective in the mouse pumpkin, the action of the flames in the fireface, and the unmistakeably a bat-ness of the bat.

  17. Wow! I have never seen pumpkins like those before. They must have taken hours to make. Happy (belated) Halloween!
